Everybody in Crumlin knows that one of the few Youth Clubs providing a service for the local kids was provided by Fr. Alan Mowles, a Salesian Father, whose Dublin home is in the heart of Crumlin on Saint Teresa’s Road.
Ballyfermot has been transformed from the days of the slanging “Bally Far Away” days to what it is now: a hugely organised and integrated community with services that are the envy of other “older” communities like Drimnagh and Crumlin.
