Assumption Girls School Dáil Visit

On Wednesday 8 June, I was pleased to welcome the Assumption Senior Girls' National School to Dáil Éireann on a tour of the Oireachtas.

The 5th class (Primary) began their day with a tour of both houses of the Oireachtas and finished with a question and answer session.

The question and answer session (which lasted for over a half an hour) covered a wide array of topics, from the reasons why I became a public representative, to the provision of resources in their school, the state of the health service, the future of Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, and a long list of other questions.

Their curiousity and inquisitiveness was truly energising. I wish them every success with their schooling. Pictures of the event can be seen below.
